We rode from Vanderhoof, B.C. to Jasper, Alberta on Friday. No pictures because it was too darn cold and wet to consider taking a photo.
Only one real down pour, but generally a nasty day weather wise.
On the road up the mountain to Jasper there was one idiot driver in a little silver car that narrowly avoided killing us and himself. Counted our blessings! Of course, once I realized I wasn't going to die I had to show him his IQ!
Rolled into Jasper around 3 p.m. - the prices of rooms were a major eye opener. We found a nice place to stay that was under $150. The other rooms we checked on started at $160.
I think we decided that even though the weather was nasty the scenery more than made up for it.
